ABOUT THE EVENT
Rubber Chicken Club is a team of care actors and performers who work together to serve designated areas within their host hospitals. Trained to assess the needs of patients and families, our performers bring skill, sensitivity, and adaptability to even the most challenging environments. Through a blend of chicanery, humor, and human connection, the Rubber Chickens offer moments of respite for patients, families, and staff—always working with minimal disruption to the essential care happening around them.
Using a mixture of magic, music, and improvisation, our team moves room to room and through shared spaces, creating meaningful interactions with minimal intrusion for maximum impact. Our performers are seasoned professionals, currently working with Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), and clinics throughout Los Angeles and Orange County.
