Rubber Chicken Club is a collective of professional performers—“care actors”—who bring moments of play, humor, and connection into healthcare environments. Working in hospitals and care settings, RCC uses performance and improvisation to support children and families through challenging experiences. At its core, RCC believes in the power of play as a form of care—offering lightness, presence, and human connection when it’s needed most.

Guilford Adams is an actor and creative professional with a background in performance, improvisation, and community-based work. As the founder of Rubber Chicken Club, he leads a team of care actors dedicated to using humor, creativity, and human connection as tools for care.
With experience working in healthcare environments, Guilford has developed a thoughtful, compassionate approach to performance—creating meaningful moments of connection for patients, families, and care teams.
